2016 National Eating Disorders Awareness Week

Hello COPE supporters!

We are excited to announce our panel discussion at Gold’s Gym for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW).  The theme for NEDAW this year is “3 Minutes Can Save a Life:  Get Screened, Get Help, Get Healthy”.  Our event is designed to raise awareness of the dangers of eating disorders and body image disturbance, particularly the danger of staying silent.  The COPE event is scheduled for 11 – 12 am, Saturday, February 27th

This event is part of a week of wellness that Gold’s Gym is sponsoring and presenting. Karen Samuels, Ph.D.  will be share experiences and recommendations as an eating disorders specialist, and Debbie Yarborough will be speaking as a survivor.  As many of you know, we are passionate about this topic and hope to send some important messages out into the community.

Please join us and spread the word to your friends and loved ones.  Together we can all make a difference.

Gold’s Gym is located at:  333 West Granada Blvd, Suite 230.  The event is in the Wellness Studio.  It is free and open to the public.
